Whicker

The proprietress of Colors With Suzanne is an engaging, gregarious woman who lives to help others gain more enjoyment and success from life.

Born and raised in Hendricks County, Suzanne is a Danville High School graduate and was a 9- year 4-H member. After receiving a Secretarial and Accounting degree from Indiana Business College, she married fellow Hendricks County native David Whicker (who had been her 4- H camp counselor). They raised sons Tim, Steve and Doug, and Suzanne began to work as a Tupperware lady, then moved into cosmetic sales with Jafra Cosmetics in 1984. She began an image development consulting business called Total Dimensions before becoming the longtime executive director of Leadership Hendricks County in 1994. Over the next 18 years, she shepherded the non-profit into Indiana’s premier community leadership development organization.

Upon her retirement from LHC in 2012, the certified Real Colors Trainer established Colors With Suzanne. Besides working to help individuals and organizations use color in new ways, she’s an active member and past president of the Danville Rotary, chairs the governing board for the Hadley Friends Meeting, helped originate and coordinate Danville’s Post Prom, and is past president of the Danville Business & Professional Women.

“We have utilized Suzanne’s expertise to facilitate Real Colors workshops on several occasions with our teachers and administrators. Suzanne does an excellent job helping us understand how knowing other’s “colors” is very important when forming groups or committees in order to solve the many problems we encounter on a daily basis.”
